What is your views on this guy?
Is he for real, or is he just ripping people off?
I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about him.

Chris :D

I got to hear of him through Business Link and did subscribe to his emails but after a while stopped reading them and unsubscribed.

simpleness

I have signed up, and I get pounded with emails every other day, sometimes 3 in a day, I was also part of his VIP inner circle (free for 2 months I think) but I am not sure on it.
Is there anyone on here who has actually tried and succeeded with what he is advising people to do?
Fair enough a lot of the information he gives is all common sense and what not but is it really worth paying the money for.

[at]PSL - yeah his hair is quite dodgy :p

Just a lot of meaningless buzzwords and the occasional nice little story.
Basically the man is selling hope to the hopeless with the same old tired cliches.
You can get all that from Glengarry Glenross with the added bonus of Al Pacino.

As someone else said he does have some good ideas. Like with a lot of these gurus, I would take all the free stuff, and use what you fancy. Might be worth taking some of the paid membership and then cancelling. Its all the same after a while. I wouldn't just dismiss him as a scammer though.

The stuff Chris Cardell teaches works.

The question may be: is it new? Is it stuff he came up with himself?

I'd be inclined to suggest it's very "reminiscent" of stuff by Jay Abraham, Perry Marshall and Dan Kennedy.

However, given that Cardell has done seminars with these guys, they don't seem bothered by it. So there's no reason why anyone else should.

Personally, his style isn't my cup of tea - and I'd already knew the stuff - but most business owners don't know these techniques/approaches and may benefit from it.

I was a member of Chris Cardell VIP Club for a while, but didn't like it and was appalled that I couldn't unsubscribe from it! There’s no means of communication with this company. If you call, it’s sent to voice mail and they never call back. All emails are no-reply email addresses. I’ve heard now that one can report them to Microsoft due to spamming and it helps to stop the scamming of the emails. So I had to ask my bank to stop paying them due to this fact. Once they didn’t receive payment they emailed me! So I cancelled the “service” or SCAM, and demanded they delete me from all their lists all together. Allegedly they did. After about 5 months they started charging my credit card again! I’ll have to take legal action. Anybody can help? Thanks, Heloisa

If they are charging your card without your authority your bank or company, issued the card, will get back all the money. But first ask them to refund your money, if they didn't inform your bank or comapny issued your card.

I always get emails from Chris. Not sure how I ever subscribed/discovered.. they all seem to go in the Junk Mail folder... I have a little read of the email...'s subject whilst pressing Delete - never open the emails. I don't pay anything to him or associated businesses. I appreciate the little extra exercise of pressing delete a few times each week does to my health.

There are dozens of guys like this around in the marketting/motivational arena. These things can work, but most of the stuff you can get from a book..
It is always numbers
10 things you need to know...
the 5 important questions...
3 basic strategies...

I remeber one the only 10 things you needed to know about business.

but next month there were other things i needed to know.

you pays your money you gets your spam

Chris I believe to be a scam merchant, first I have been charged twice for products that were supposed to be free, I have been charged for the two months inner circle that were also supposed to be free, I have been unable to contact him to unsubscribe to emailing, nor have I been able to cancel the monthly subscription, I have had to resort to contacting my Banks to cancel payments, just hope this works in six months from now.

It does work for him and it must be worth taking a look at. But it is a strategy of very high marketing input and high margins for information which is available elsewhere.

Some of the things he said have alerted me to techniques, and I have twice bought a package for him. There is useful stuff there but I do find the delivery tedious and never finish the 'courses'. There are usually recordings of his meetings.

I would be wary of spending as before long you realise you are paying for him to market more stuff to you.

So as a guy he seems okay, and very successful. He is marketing information which he packages a certain way. Nothing wrong with that.It works because the field changes quickly needing more courses to update.

But be very careful as you can end up paying a huge amount if you sign up for the VIP or other auto renew products. The courses are pitched ridiculously high and then discounted to what is still quite expensive. I bought adwords training from a local company and learnt more.

BTW, I have but found them very good at cancelling.
