This week is Chinese National Day holidays. Hadn't thought it would affect the number of Chinese postings, but clearly it has. Shows how quiet it is without our Asian friends.

I wonder if they will ever move to more flexible holidays like us? It would help to reduce the massive movements of people that take place in short timescales.

    Hi GraemeL,

The chinese generally have more holidays now than they certainly did 5 or 6 years ago. Well in certain provinces anyway. It`s likely that with the rise of Human Rights and business laws etc increasing all the time, along with quality of life and the affordability to take time off, holidays will increase too :) Happy days!

lol...it's funny to pick up this topic!

in fact, I took the holiday from 1st Oct, and resume work on 17th Oct. all my colleagues in european can't get in touch with me because of I take this time back to my hometown where internet is not available in the villiage.

i feel that I'm the man who don't know the news outside my villiage, the connect to the outside world is cut off.

anyway, I'm back to shenzhen and back to normal life. and for sure, I'm back to ukbusinessforums.
