I am trying to get some goods from China to the UK and I have been quoted the postage cost by the manufacturer. I would like to compare the rates available externally and I am wondering if there are reliable websites that I can use to check the prices for postage from different courier company.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You can check the Alibaba.com. It has a courier service section that you can find a lot of couriers quoting their rates upfront.
