    Hello,
With the cost of living crisis at the moment, many people are looking for the best energy deals in the market.
I've came across to this company who is offering a fixed annual tariff of £1974 (dual fuel) for the next 12 months, around £165/month for gas and electricity combined. I really like this offer.
Would you recommend another energy company?

I already pay less than that. So it doesn’t look like that good a deal.

How can you possibly say that with no idea of the usage?
Exactly. Which is why the posted offer makes no sense. For all we know it’s a light use only deal that hikes the rate up if you go over the limit.

Still doesn’t change the fact that I pay a less than that each month.

So why say it's not a good deal when you have no idea if it's a good deal or not?
Because it’s spam. They already have a warning for similar.

I'm still learning how to use this Forum and want to keep following the rules. I thought it was a good thing to share this information which I came across recently. Have a lovely weekend!;)
Irrespective of forum rules, this really isn't a good way to sell - it comes across as insincere and a bit dodgy

    Good Morning,
Thanks for everyone who replied to my first thread. When I decided to create this thread within the "Time Out" area, my main intention, was to get some feedback and recommendations. I had no intention in selling anything, I'm not an Utility Expert. I received this information last Friday and thought, perhaps I can share it in this Forum, and collect some views. I only replied saying, ... "I have been told that this offer is not for long. Send me a personal message, and I'll explain better.", because I realised that someone wanted to know more information about it.
If I breached any rules, please I'll be grateful if you can delete my thread.
Yesterday, I shared the same information with a friend, here in Liverpool, about this new deal, and she said "Thank you for thinking of us, Joseph". She understood that I only wanted to share some positive news with her.
    Have a good week everyone!:)

If the deal is good don’t ask for a PM. All you have to do is post the details.

Until yesterday your profile said you were a utilities broker.

Today it says saveandbenefit - which directs to Utilities Warehouse - which offers energy contracts.

Whilst I'm no fan of MLM (UW are probably the least offensive), I'm pretty sure they would frown on this type of selling which drags their brand through the mud.

So, when you said that you 'came across this company', it just so happens to be the company that you actually work for, what a surprise

It could be any other company to be honest! I don't work for the UW, but I'm an UW Partner like thousands of people in the UK, helping friends & family save on their shopping and utilities bills, since I joined in 2007. There's now even a better deal, launched last Thursday, 27th July.

It's quite alarming how unaware you are of the damage you are doing to your & UW's reputation with this shabby approach.

Ignoring silly pedantry; you are paid by UW to introduce customers for them = you are working for them.

You will be taken far more seriously if you are honest.

The website link in your profile redirects straight to the UW website. As Mark says you should have been completely transparent about it when you first posted…

This sounds like every boss babe defence of the MLM company they have been roped in to ( Younique, Scentsy FM cosmetics etc etc. )

You are far better to distance yourself from these tactics. The false secrecy surrounding these deals is a big no no for anyone with any degree of business sense.

it is actually difficult to get any prices from UW, by that I mean unit prices and standing charges as opposed to £XXX per month. Another MM give away.

Some people do make money in MLMs, unfortunately very few make even minimum wage after deducting costs.
