Cheap Calls

Just wondering if anyone could advise on my cheapest method of making calls to another country (International).

These would be high frequency sales calls.

Is skype my best option maybe?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Skype is surprisingly expensive when calling international or even local numbers.

But you've asked a 'how long is a piece of string' question - the answer is that it depends. Calling landlines in Europe and North America is very cheap - our packages get it down to under 1p per minute. (It's probable that you can get it a bit cheaper but it will be using grey routes which are unreliable and very low quality.)

Calling international mobiles and more 'exciting' countries is going to cost you a lot more.

We have a call cost calculator here (which gives pre-discounted rates)

Sorry for bumping the old post. This site may be useful:

Even if I say so myself. Was looking through forums to find similar information found this old post.
Depending what gear you have in the office and kind of hassle you're willing to take. I'd go for hosted telephony service. They can hook up anything (PC, mobile, land line) to VIOP and assign a number to your hookup, routing through the same SIP as those cheap call providers, compared in the provided link. So next time you pick up headset, mobile, or a wired phone you can call to other countries at low rate and have any geographic number (not 0845) you wish.
