There is a process but they just keep coming back asking for different information, eventually going around in circles.

Here's how to change the name of your business:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Business Profile icon beside "Log Out" and select Profile and settings.
3. Click My business info.
4. Click Change next to Name.
5. Select Business Name Change (business name).
6. Click Continue to complete the instructions.

Note: Depending on the name change you are making, you may be required to upload or fax documentation.

Great answer. But not helping OP as the business name is not being changed.

The process is actually similar but what happens is they tell you you included the wrong e-mail address (personal v. business) or some such. You send the corrected info and it disappears into a black hole or starts all over.

We changed the name of the account holder on an account. Took a couple of hours. Most of the delay was getting the identification documents reviewed.
