Playing with layouts. This is the current layout for the comparisons table:

This is the new:

Which do you prefer?

Ignore colours, fonts etc, they are all ediable. It's just the layout of the results table for which I want your critique.

I think you've done a great job with both, I like the clarity of the first however with something like this the extra information in the second is important. The first is easier on the eye but the second might perform better so I'm saying the second.

    Thanks all. Useful feedback.

The structure of the first has proved useful for custom tables but I always felt the bottom line of content looked a bit wrong. But it seems my views were wrong so I'll leave it as it is for now and keep version two if someone want their version to look like that.

I would say is to visually separate the 3 sections.

The slider section, filters and results seem cluttered together. Maybe add a light background colour to 1 or 2 to help separate those sections

Also, add a little breathing space to the results section inbetween each company. Seems a bit tight

Thanks @JamaC - agree about the spacing. Very few people actually use this plugin. It's really just a demo from which I create custom versions. And customers report that most visitors use their phones. Which is why I have put more effort into the mobile layout.

A default message after say 5 days of nobody taking any further interest in a thread that could say "ask the forum" .

A message which is still hanging in the air after 5 days is no longer "new".

It's just a thought to ensure the forum stays fresh.
