OK - Completely ballsed up, sent three packages to Canada using UPS the three have arrived in Canada and are now stuck in customs gathering dust. Postage about £ 400 or something to ship air freight. The duty should be about £ 300 on the manufacture value.
Ultimately, i track them down and find that they wont release them unless i have an NRI or i use a CDN Broker.
My volume is low and so is the consignment value. I am probably looking at 3 boxes a quarter maybe less to Candada depending on take up rates.
Anyone with advice on best way to a) resolve current issue and b) going forward to continue shipping to Canada in the future - looking for most cost effective option.
