Hi everyone,

I am currently in a business partnership which has the registered name BartendersFetish.com. However we have recently decided to side track from our original line of business and open up a side project to run alongside.
Can I use a different name for the website if I display our business name somewhere on the site or would we need to register the name as another business?

Any help on this would be great!

Thanks,

Tommy

You can set up a website with anyname you like, it doesn't have to have any connection to your fetish site...

the short answer is yes, however as previously stated, if the bartendersfetish is a limited company then you will have to list your registered trading name on the new website. You can of course change the limited company name to something less innocuous whilst still keeping the bartendersfetish.com website - then when you have several websites doing different things they can be listed on each website as bartenderfish.com a member of the abc Ltd group of companies or daffofilds4u.com a member of the abc Ltd group of companies etc.
