Call holding

Hi

I've been running an online shop for a few months now and run this from home. I cant always answer the phone so have an answering machine however sometimes I can tell that someone is trying to call in while I'm on the phone (it starts to beep at me) and my machine doesn't take a message, I'm worrying I'm losing out on business.

I wondered if anyone knew how I set up a call handling service on my phone which sounds to the customer like they are in a queue waiting for their call to be answered? Or something that tells them that their call will be answered. Does anyone know how to set this up? I have no idea.

That's BT's call waiting, you can toggle between the calls - there's information here:

If you want call queuing tho', that's different. We can do it, it'll cost £1.99 for a number, £0.99 for an extension and £1.99 for the Q. (per month ex VAT).
