Calculating statutory redundancy for variable hours

    I'm having trouble finding the answer to this one:

    How do you calculate statutory redundancy pay when the employee works variable hours week-on-week?

    I am assuming it's an average over the last x weeks/months/years but can't find reference to it anywhere.

    Isn't it twelve weeks Jenni? The average value of a week's pay calculated in accordance with sections 221-225 of the Employment Rights Act 1996.
