Buying Business Email Address....

Sounds a silly question,but everyday I get Emails from ***** enlargement to buying things...My question is....How do I go about finding someone who will Email a huge amount of companies for me to promote my field???...I of course understand a massive % of them will go into the spam folder of they will just get deleted..Any idea on who and cost?

you can do it yourself with software like phplist (on a server), a third party system like Mail Chimp or even with your own email client, however, which ever route you use, make sure you have permissions to email or, at least, give an unsubscribe link!

I only have about 300 people on my database,but these are customers anyway or drivers etc...I just thought it would be a mad idea to sent say 1,000,000 Emails out to business to promote mine,but I guess they wont get opened or will end up in the spam folder,just a thought..if it was cheap enough I was going to try it but as I say I looked on the net but couldnt find anyone who could do it,do they really send them out etc??

There is strict rules on sending bulk email - there must be an unsubscribe link - you must provide full company details including address and company number.

Make sure you do not send them from your own servers - it's worht paying a professional outfit to send them if you are sending such high numbers.

Not only will it be much faster, most ISPs take a dim view of that kind of mail volumes, and people like SpamHaus are liable to block the server as well.

I tried this a few years ago. Used a MINT database to search for email addresses, put my own email address in the :TO box and copied and pasted everyone else into the BCC: box. I sent 500,000 emails in a day.

I made 51 deals... excellent return, I think so.

However, caused massive problems for IT department, as they had to change my email address, as when I was emailing customers they bounced back, blacklisted allegedly.
