I would be interested to know how many Northern Ireland based business owners are on this website as not many posts are started in the Northern Ireland forum.

Please give details of the type of business you run and the County you are in.

    I'll start ...

I run an accountancy practice in Co Down.

    ....and I'm still here :)

Nose to the grindstone, working on a Friday night, work planned all weekend, and trying to get a new office refit done while having a shockingly busy week next week.

Nothing new here, except maybe I don't worry about the bills coming in just as much as when I started ;)

I figure at this rate, I'll be able to afford the time and the price of a pint somewhere in 2011 :D

Read over the posts on the NI sub forum, you'll get a handle there on other NI based members.

    Hello all,

My name is Stephen and I have recently opened up my own recruitment agency called GRS in Belfast.

Any help and advice to get up and running in Northern Ireland's forum would be great.

I do business based in Belfast. Hav'nt used the forum before now. I need some info on alchol licensing. I see from The General Licensing System Part 2 Item 5 "Premises for which licences will be granted" item f, Conference Centre and item h, place of public entertainment. I am opening a small digital theatre and conference center and hope to sell wine only. Would these activities qualify for a limited licence?

    Many thanks

    Welcome Steve,

you might find posting this question in a more general thread in the forum might get a better response.

This thread was about introducing NI business to one another.

    Best wishes

Based in Co Antrim, but travel all over....because I'm a mobile DJ and MC. I actually moved here in February this year. I did it in style.....built up a good reputation in Cambridgeshire whereby nearly all my work was from referrals....then up sticks and moved across the water. So being new to the area I'm still looking for various suppliers.
