Business Rates Relief

The water company are planning to dig up the road to renew the mains pipes at the end of Feb for 3 weeks. This will cause significant disruption to traffic flow,and inevitably stop shoppers from coming into town.

One of my friends mentioned the possibility of getting some relief from my business rates, does anyone have experience of this?

We had this problem for 4 days which affected our Eatery, all the water company offered us was £50 compensation lol
