BS7499 & BS8584 Manuals?

We have decided to try to join Constructionline in the hope of improving our chances of getting some work for new business, however one of there pre-requisites is that we must be a member of the NSI or SSIAB, we have chosen the SSIAB, the can give us product certification ( BS7499 ) which should allow us to join Constuctionline ( amaong a lot of other required information ) does anyone know where we can get these Manuals? I know you can download them from the SIA Website but I begrudge paying for a pdf file to be honest, furthermore is Constructionline a good way to get work do you think?

I begrudge paying £100.00 for two PDF files.
You are not paying for two PDF files, you are paying for the research, development, authoring, reviews and document creation.

They are tax deductable anyway so regard them as an investment not a cost.

Constructionline is very good but tendering will cost you a lot more than the price of the PDFs. The application is free but everything after that will mean shelling out.
