Beta testers wanted: contact form submissions forwarded to WhatsApp (great for client sites)

Hey everyone, I’m Joe, solo founder building web2phone (UK). I’m looking for a few people to beta test a simple tool for websites:
When someone submits a contact form, the site owner gets the enquiry instantly on WhatsApp (with email fallback). It’s aimed at trades/small service businesses who miss leads while they’re working, but I’m testing it with web/dev people too since you manage lots of sites.
I’m not here to hard-sell, I’m trying to validate onboarding + reliability on real sites.
What I’m offering:
  • Free beta access
  • Quick setup (copy/paste snippet)
  • Happy to walk you through it if you’re fitting it to a client site
What I need:
  • A site with a contact form (or a staging site is fine)
  • Feedback on what’s unclear / what you’d change in setup
If you’re up for it, reply with:
  1. platform (WordPress/Wix/custom/etc.)
  2. are you testing for your own site or a client site?

Is the Wordpress plugin listed in the plugin directory?

How does it handle attachments?

Does it process hidden fields?

I've just asked ChatGPT and got the code. Really simple to do. I'll add it to my contact form plugin later.

Given it a go. Can't give you feedback here as website reviews are only for Business Members. But it needs lot of work.

Not yet, at the moment it’s intentionally lightweight: you add it via a small snippet (works fine on WordPress, Wix, custom sites etc.).
A WP plugin is on the roadmap once the beta proves the onboarding + reliability, but I didn’t want to force people into WordPress-only for v1.
If you’re happy to test it on a WP site, tell me what you’re using (Gutenberg / Elementor / Contact Form 7 / WPForms etc.) and I’ll point you to the quickest install method.

attachments/file uploads aren’t in the current beta/MVP yet. Right now it forwards the form fields (name, phone, message, etc.) to WhatsApp, with email fallback.
File uploads are planned (likely as links rather than trying to push files into WhatsApp directly), but I’m keeping the beta focused on the core ‘don’t miss the enquiry’ flow first. If attachments are important for your use case, what kind of files are you typically receiving?

Nice yep, the snippet part is meant to be dead simple.
The bit I’m beta testing is the ‘plumbing’ around it: reliable delivery to WhatsApp, email fallback, logs, and making sure it behaves across different form plugins/platforms.
If you do add it later and you’re up for it, I’d love to hear:
  • which contact form plugin you used, and
  • whether anything in the setup/onboarding was unclear

It really needs to work with all contact form plugins. And be an add on plugin not a snippet.

If you want a proper review upgrade to business member.

There is a looooong list of things that need sorting. Especially the email/whatsapp delivery.
