Its worth looking again at RBSWorldpay. They came in for a lot of criticism last year for their truly awful customer account interface but their service and speed of response have improved greatly in the past few months.
SagePay, formally Protx, are a very good choice. I'd probably put them as first choice for businesses looking for a new payment gateway.
Unless PayPoint have stopped charging extra for customer / account support I would consider other options first.

PayPoint has never charged extra for support, even when we were SECPay and Metacharge! Email support is included in all of our packages at no extra charge, and telephone support is also included in our Professional package, again at no extra charge.

we have a policy of supporting all of our merchants to ensure that they are trading online.
