Hi, I have about 2-300 emails which i have obtained via email enquiries and other stuff via my website, all the addresses have not checked the box that says "if you do oxnot want to recieve offers etc etc check this box "

I ave tries to run a campaign via constant contact but i just got flagged up and aske to prove that i had permission.

Is there another way to do a campaign? i dont want everyones email address to be on show, but i dont mind manually inputting them in to an address bar or whatever.

I obviously dont want them to go straight in to peoples junk folders either.

Does anyone have any advice, can you do it in outlook?

Thanks

You can use your normail email client, BCC'ing everyone, or something like phplist. Both of these ways are 'free'.

I would seriously recommend not using your own email client. As already mentioned you get no tracking, no stats etc. Also very importantly is that if you start sending out 100s of emails your ISP is likely to mark you as a spammer and possibly block your access or emails.

Mail Chimp is free and comes with a load of features.

I used Vertical Response last week and I was quite impressed. I sent 2,500 messages without a hitch and the stats seem pretty good. I seem to remember filling out a form explaining how the data is collected, and then after a while (I guess while they reviewed it) the emails went out.

Another vote for MailChimp for your particular situation.

Personally I use AWeber for all my communications, but you can't just import email addresses (well you can, but Aweber will email all of them and ask if they are happy for you to email them - not ideal!).

The only issue that can happen with MailChimp is your account can be suspended if they suspect your email addresses have been "farmed" rather than collected organically and with consent. They have some in built algorithms that work this out, but normally a quick email to their admin will unlock you account and let you carry on with your email campaign.

Regards
