    Two pennies are better than one !

    I like the email .
    Berry apps are rubbish.I have one now !
    ability to send a pic on the spot is good via email.
    The retention team at vodafone are not particularly encouraging and want more money for a new berry than an iphone is likely to cost, but more importantly I am curious to hear what other users experience day to day.
    On top I fancy a change-

    tbh the only gripe i have with the iphone is its battery, but a secondary battery case fixes the main issue and its not a real real biggy as i can plug it into my car or van and it sits plugged into my pc in the office.

    for me i needed it for the ipod as well as my current one is on its way out and it gets used every night. so i get a decebnt enough phone, an ipod, ability to watch films etc, games on the boring jobs where im waiting for deliveries, and enough apps to shake a stick at.

    i can run my websites and server, check emails, check stats from google on my sites and update all my blogs as well as social networking.

    email is good on the iphone as well.

    only other thing that isnt quite so great is the camera, but its good enough for quick daytime snaps and has been good enough for use at work for site surveys etc.

    Another shout for the Android. In particular the HTC Hero. I find it useful with nearly anything I need with a phone.

    I've written several posts regarding the hero. Maybe search my posts for deeper insight. I have no idea what you intend to do in terms of contract but I feel Michael Potts aka Business_1 has the best business deals going. Again look up my previous posts to see what I mean.

    iPhones are excellent pieces of kit if utilised correctly.

    In my opinion the email client on the iPhone is good and does exactly what it says on the tin. Additionally, the Logmein application is fantastic and I can login to my office PC from anywhere with a 3G or Wireless signal, controlling anything I need to.

    It may have been on here, but I came across an interesting statistic a couple of weeks back.

    Something along the lines of 50% of people who are due to renew their phone are considering a touch screen

    and 45% of those with touch screens are going to change to a normal phone next time!

    (not guaranteeing the numbers, but the principle is there)


    At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preference. I've got a Blackberry and am quite happy, and there are loads of happy Iphone users too.

    I decided on the i phone eventually,it is more fun and has an app to link to Kashflow- but the main reason was price-
    i phone- £24.50 with 300 mins +a big heap of texts and unlimited email /internet.
    The BB was quoted at £44- both are from vodafone on business contract and I have been with them for 2 yrs. I also have a cheap Nokia with them (£8.00 !)

    The iphone does have an annoying habit of dropping calls which is beginning to really get up my nose,our area is not good for reception but the BB was better and the nokia bog standard cheapo I have never drops and gets much better reception.

    Foget the iphone, if you are going to be getting an iphone on o2/vodafone especially
    you may experience network and data connectivity issues.. there are a lot of iphone users on this carrier network.. and this issue is caused by iphone signalling..

    Google, data explosion on carriers network.

    I can Recommend the NOKIA N900

    My second day with an HTC Desire and quite impressed so far.

    With the Android OS being so configurable, unlike the Blackberry, it needs a fair bit of work to get it configured and running exactly how you want, the screen is incredible and web surfing is actually a pleasure.

    I'd say 19% for the android is quite impressive, given that it has only recently become a player - I wonder what that chart will look like in 2 years time?

    Personally I'm a Blackberry - I only use email and it's perfect for that. I have no interest in apps or games or annoying people on trains with my 'music' collection.

    I tried an iPhone for a while and can see a market for it, however for years I have had an issue with some of Apples market practises hence I would never buy any hardware from them. The iPhone unlocking debacle is the latest.

    I currently have an iPhone. Its good but not brilliant. Sometimes emails don't get pushed. When its asleep, it just seems to be disconnected from the rest of the world sometimes. Calls not coming through and neither push notifications. My alarm sometimes only rings when I wake the phone. Maybe I need to go get this looked at by the Apple Store but still shouldn't happen.

    Considering getting the Bold 9700. Not sure if I should get it or stick with the iPhone because the new OS looks cool.

    Yeah my emails dont bleep straight away, but when i go on it they refresh and appear,

    as for your other stuff you might want to get it looked at.

    I thought every iPhone app had to go through apple before release so how can any be rogue?

    Seems more like the earlier iPhones are not powerfull enough to multitask as confirmed by apple in their min spec requirements for OS4
