So, I was happy to say, this year, we'd focus entirely on X marketing.

But by the grace of elon musk, we've been somehow made ineligible for ads.

I want to know, from IT/Cloud companies - WHERE THE HECK SHOULD WE MARKET ;(

    Google Ads seem too, dodgy.

TikTok ads don't yield any results.

    I'm tempted to try Facebook.

I want to attract hobbyists, not just pros in the industry.

X was seriously good, idk wtf happened.

X issues and suspensions are normally down to policy violations, incomplete or fake profiles, or payment issues.

The answer to your "where to market" question is based on research; e.g. where do your potential customers (hobbyists) look, and what do they actually look for?

Unfortunately, I doubt it's on X or Facebook, it's likely to be mainly Google searches, which means ranking organically or via Gemini Ai results, or running Google Ads. The alternative is likely to be forums and Reddit, maybe Facebook groups.

There's nothing dodgy about Google Ads by the way, but it needs customer and keyword research upfront, good landing pages and sign up funnels, plus lots of testing and management to work well and deliver a good return.

Just want to endorse what Paul Carmen wrote above. Sad, but true. Doing Google Ads successfully is not achieved without real commitment.

Spend more time tweaking your landing pages. These need to be dedicated pages - often orphaned from the rest of the site and structured for converting a different type of visitor to those browsing the site.
