Auto Responder Alternative

Hi All,

I run a few different projects at the moment and have been using Get Response for years.
Sadly so few of the newsletters are getting through now, despite keeping the spam score low etc and doing all of the other best practice requirements for email lists.

Also, I am now paying £54 a month for the service for just under 10k subscribers and this definitely not good value for money.

Can anyone suggest a better way to email lists as I hear other firms are also just as bad?

Thanks
G

I've used iContact before. That seemed to work slightly better for me, as unlike mailchimp (which I used previously) it managed to mask the email address it was sending from so it always came from the same address. Mailchimp would always send from some long gobeldygook email address that seemed to change each time I used it. Nearly always ending up in junk folders or needing the end user to approve Outlook to download the images contained within the email each time!

There might be more clever ways to get each marketing tool to send out email from your own email address, adding more legitimacy to it.

I'm sorry to hear that so few of your newsletters are 'getting through now'

Is the problem 'delivery rates' or is it that there are lots of 'non openers?'

There is a natural decay rate to subscriber responses if the content you supply gets a bit jaded, which can happen to the best of us.

Delivery is one problem and non-openers is a very different problem and the bigger your list the bigger the problem.....I currently have over 180,000 and even small changes can have a huge effect

...really struggling and will never use or suggest MailChimp - use them at your own peril..
Then you are doing it wrong. Mailchimp is an excellent tool.

...not sure about them as seems complicated but prepared to try ANYTHING instead of MAILCHIMP!
Mailchimp is excellent if used properly.
