Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help? I submit articles to article base and ezines. What other article sites do you use?

Personally, I wouldn't bother with article submissions any more. This link building method was devalued a lot as a result of the panda update last year and they are not seen as high quality links.

Added to that though, Google is on an all out offensive against blog/link networks at the moment, and to me that isn't a million miles different than article directories; So I wouldn't be surprised if they further devalue article links in the near future.

I would focus on manual reach out type links only right now, they take a lot more effort to obtain, but they are the most effective right now and I can't honestly see such links being devalued any time soon, since they are by definition editorially given which follows Google's ts&cs to the letter.

Just my personal opinion, although I'm sure many people on here still swear by article submissions.

I appreciate your opinion but finding links otherwise is very difficult. I've already added the site to quite a few directories but some of these directories feel a bit low value even though they have high PR just because they're full of outbound links.

How do you mean 'reach out' links? I'm already trying to obtain links on links pages of similar/industry related sites but these most of the time are recipricol which I've also heard aren't much value...

Any tips on where i could get links from next?

Article syndication is not that great - if you find an article base with a high PR this will not reflect on how well your article is shown within the SERPS. Articles are only given their merits i.e how many tweets, bookmarks and backlinks it has back to it - so if this is the case, do you not think it's best to then put the content on your website so your visitors can find it there and pass link juice over?

If you are going to do article marketing do PR.

Yeh I agree re:directories - I don't personally use any submission link building methods any more, just reach out and link bait (occassionally)

Personally, I find that guest posting is the most accessible way to get outreach links, it does by definition take a lot of work per link and other than using excel to manage your workflow there is little you can do to make it any quicker or easier.

The hardest part is making it scalable (ie, building more than the occassional link), there are some services which help you to find opportunities (MBG and BLU) but these should be used sparingly, as you can quickly create a footprint.

The best option is to simply use Google and look for opportunities, then use email or twitter to make introductions and enquire about posting opportunities.

There is simply no way to shortcut this, on average it might take 2-3 hours to build a link, and I would suggest aiming to build 4 or more a month if you can.

This will give you a much better return than several hours of directory submissions (in my honest opinion).

Link baiting can work great too, but it is hard to do right and is a bit of a gamble.

here lies the problem - anything editorial will be hand-picked as specific content is required. Thus some small biz website wont fit into someone's content needs, so you wont get on such sites.

Forget easy traffic, it never, ever existed. Too easy to block spam these days anyway, so anyone doing this is wasting their time.

There are many articles sites available on internet. You can search on google.com for top article submission sites. There are free articles submission sites as well as paid also. If you need high PR site then search for high PR article submission sites as well as for instant approval sites also.

Any website that blindly accepts articles and doesnt check quality is nuts.

Too easy to delete spammers, and thats a giant fact.
