And that's good? When I searched for the brand name, the quickest to rank was the Google+ page...
If anyone wants to follow us get involved

I will happily follow back and try and get some momentum going on this
I'm finding it difficult to connect to anybody using google+
I'm in the process of setting up my blog and will be using that to promote my g+ page and vice-versa and yes I intend for it to be a resource for my customers, followers and site visitors
Do you go around adding random people or just people you know? Genuine question
Content is king. So they say.
Twitter is useless unless people actually want to hear what you have to say, or want to see what you have done.
Like take Paul Murray for example. He's a graphic design. I like graphic design. If he runs tutorials etc I'd follow him.
If he was just promoting his business by Tweeting "10% off on graphic design this week"....nah. In the bin.
What are you doing to promote you G+ page?
Have you blogged about it, added it to your forum/email signatures, tweeted about it, etc? Are you adding people to your own circles? Are you posting useful content each day?
Don't just post about what you do, ensure the majority of your content relates to sharing relevant content of others. Make your page a resource people want to follow then try and sell them stuff in-between.
Maybe even have exclusive offers only available to those who add you to circles and then post about it.
An artist recently offered to sketch people who added them on G+ and posted about the offer. Over the weekend their follower count shot up and continues to rise.
Try Linkedin. On Google+ Linkedin group there is a link to share post. It has helped me. Must help you too.
To me personally, google+ is too late as facebook (love it or hate it) have cornared the market.
