Hi Guys,

To add some clarification to the above, we (BizBritain) are a FCA Authorised firm and delivery partner for the government's Start-Up Loan scheme, as correctly noted by Mark T Jones. This means that we are able to authorise government backed loans to candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria, and pass our assessment process.

The size of the loan is not a deciding factor (other than the requirement that all loans be less than £25,0000). There are a multitude of things taken into account, including the background and experience of the applicant, their business plan and cash-flow projections, credit history, and the overall affordability of the loan to that applicant based on their own circumstances.

Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions.

They are a good reputable company. As long as your business plan is solid and they believe you are able to pay them back it should all work out.
They are just a portal to find you a finance partner.
They're anything but reputable. They are highly exclusionary. Zero empathy for people of an older generation who find the process a little more challenging. They also more or less called me a liar when I pointed out we wasted 3 weeks at the start of the process because they didn't see my response had been submitted.
A guy called Gary Lennon was the most obnoxious unhelpful person I've ever dealt with. Apparently it's exclusionary of the older generation but that's just the way it is???
