ANY E-COMMERCE KINGS/PROS OUT THERE TO GIVE ADVICE/COACH/MENTORSHIP?

Hi everyone.

I'm trying to find somebody who has been successful in E-commerce as I currently have a online vape website but with all the competition out there, it would be really good to get someones advice from a e-commerce background who has been successful.

I've looked on google for mentors/coaches but I feel like coming here first would be a good idea to see what everyone else thinks.

I don't have our own products to sell (own branded E-liquid, etc) - just other brands as a retailer.
I am currently trying to learn all the ropes of Social Media, Google SEO, Email Marketing etc but after hearing what someone said about 'finding someone who knows how to do things properly and then applying it' would be much quicker and smarter than going through all the ropes, applying what I think might work and hoping for the best.

Look forward to any replies and thanks for taking the time to read this!

Regards,
Louis

Cheers for the recommendation @UrbanRetail :)

@FromWorkerToOwner (Louis) - I can certainly give you advice and would be happy to set aside some time or day for some ecommerce / marketing training. I've helped 80+ ecommerce stores to grow their sales so I've been around a bit.

DM me and we can arrange a chat. If you like what you hear, we can go from there.

@UrbanRetail Thank you for the quick recommendation.
@Clinton I do not have any budget in mind - if it's cheap/free then great, if not, I'm hoping its worth the cost. It's just quite a lot for me at the moment where I am processing everyday and just consuming information - not really knowing what works best.

I will direct message you now @WebshopMechanic :).

If anybody else would like to add their input I am more than happy to explore.

Just like thousands of other resellers.

The cost is quite likely to be higher than any revenue you make.

Sorry to be so negative but businesses like yours are easy to set up but very difficult or expansive to market. There are thousands or resellers all pushing the same or similar products to the same small group of people.

That's why @WebshopMechanic has stepped in and has given me great advice! Advice that has not only changed my mindset towards running an e-commerce store but how to really make a change for people. Sorry to be more positive!

Is advice/assistance REALLY that expensive? Seems you've assumed I don't generate any money..

I agree businesses like this are easy to set up and difficult to market - that's why I am here to get advice from experienced people specializing in e-commerce.

I am already aware of everything you have said in your post though @fisicx. That's pretty much common sense... Everybody knows this already.

Is there anything useful you can add to your comments or is that all you want to say?

    ?
In the words of the Joker from Batman "If you're good at something, never do it for free". @fisicx is right the more advice and assistance you seek the more you will end up paying for it. Consultants do not work for free, yes the initial briefing may be free but if you want to move forward then this will cost money. Alex

@antropy I am yet to watch the movie but I will very soon! I heard it's great!

Of course nothing is free - I am more than happy to pay for advice that will work and I know there will be a cost.

Cost isn't the issue here - I'm always looking at the bigger picture for business and I have a plan now that I've spoken to the webshopmechanic.

I think I have mislead everyone to thinking I only want free advice.

The main aim of this post was to find someone who can help and I have already found that person! :)

    Thanks for the replies guys.
