Alrighty There People.

Just another suggestion for a sticky, but not sure if will be considered spam... let me know what you think.

Everytime we submit an article to digg, post it here, so that other users can go to digg and 'digg it'.

What do you think?

Okay, I placed a new page on my website, part of the "Helpful Hints" series. I called the page Top Ten Tips to Speed Up Your Computer - Without Upgrading.

Then I submitted the article to digg, which generates more traffic to the site.

So, when we submit an article to Digg.com, we then post it here, so that others can 'digg it'. The more diggs a site gets, the more visitors it gets, the more popular it gets, and the most popular dugg sites gets on the sites front page.

So I'm suggesting to post the url of the dugg article, like this:

http://www.digg.com/software/Top_10_Tips_to_Speed_Up_Your_Computer_Without_Upgrading

That takes users directly to the link, and they can digg it instantly.

That's my suggestion - sorry I wasn't clearer earlier!

I'd say it's a bad idea. By all means link to your article and have digg link at the bottom, but I think to encourage people to digg something when they don't necassarily dig (one G) it is bad form and counter-productive to the whole concept behind digg.

Although it'd be naive to say this doesn't go on. But I don't think that because others are doing it we whould also encourage it.

Just my tuppence worth.
