Got the iphone 4.s which i have always been impressed with but i think the bar was set way too high with the i phone 4 .
They are struck for ideas on how to improve it so me personally i doubt i will buy the i phone 5 .
Will probably get the samsung galaxy s3.
Someone said it best when they said apple are becomming the call of duty of phones .
Im with IOS because I have got used to my Iphone. I have an IPAD as well and I have an Adroid tablet. I prefer the IPAD to be honest.
The best thing about these 6 pages just shows we are all different and we all have different needs, so its a good thing there are in the main 3 types of o/s for mobiles.
Its a shame some of the posts get a bit narky when someone has a different opinion, but I can be a bit like that myself sometimes.
There will always be a group of people thinking that 'their' choice is the only good choice. I am using Windows Phone for about 2 years now, earlier had some Windows Mobile smartphones and I think these are nice. Windows Phone is very fast and I think Marketplace will be growing fast now, especially with Windows 8 on its way.
I also bought LG L3 phone few days ago, which is low-end Android smartphone. Its purpose is to make calls, texts and synchronise with Exchange to keep contacts updated. And it does the job perfectly and cost only £70 (PAYG).
Have you used Windows Phone or Windows Mobile? There is massive difference between this two, completely non connected systems, apart of Windows in name. If you only compare it on the basis of Windows Mobile I am not surprised that you prefer iOS. At the other hand: what versions have you used, as WP7 is significantly different from WP7.5.But we've got to realise the iPhone is designed by Apple running IOS, Android isnt a make of a phone, its an OS with many devices made by different companies. So is Windows Mobile and yes i have been a user of all 3 at different points in my life.
Strange comparison, it sums to 94.2. Does it mean that Windows Phone is 3rd with 5.8% share? Here are IDC's figures for worldwide smartphone unit sales and market share in the second quarter of 2012, by operating system.
Android (Google Inc.) 104.8 million units, 68.1 percent share (46.9 percent a year earlier)
iOS (Apple Inc.'s iPhone) 26.0 million units, 16.9 percent share (18.8 percent a year earlier)
BlackBerry (Research in Motion Ltd.) 7.4 million units, 4.8 percent share (11.5 percent a year earlier)
Symbian (mostly used by Nokia Corp.) 6.8 million units, 4.4 percent share (16.9 percent a year earlier)
Strange comparison, it sums to 94.2. Does it mean that Windows Phone is 3rd with 5.8% share?![]()
3 gives their reasons for choosing the Lumia 920 over the iphone5 including the superior camera, you can use it with gloves on, wireless charging and the colours it's available in...

I totally agree with them, and no I'm not employed by Nokia or Microsoft, I'm just a big fan of Windows Phone 7 having used it for over 2 years and I love my Nokia Lumia 900 but am looking forward to getting the Lumia 920 even more.
Tom
I very nearly ordered 2 nokia lumia 820's on an upgrade with t-mobile today, until i stumbled on a post in the nokia forum. No bluetooth connection with our car or works van, both vehicles less than 2 years old. Apparently windows phones don't have the capability for 'tethering' (?) Via bluetooth. Seems a bit of a giant leap backwards?!
Windows os also means you can't personalise text message/alarm/reminder tones & there's no flashing light to indicate a missed call/text etc. Perhaps minor issues, but i quite like having 'don't you forget about me' playing for my reminder!![]()
My 2 cents is Android. I love my Samsung S3 and find the interface very easy to customise, while the google integration helps me easily sync data from my Linux desktop.
