Analytics odd today, or just odd visitors?

Hi,

employmentlawclinic.com has a very unusual report in Google Analytics for traffic today: 45 new visitors from direct traffic (no search engines, etc), including visitors from Germany (16), Ireland (8), Switzerland (7), US (6), and France (3).

I've never seen anything like it before, so many visitors simply going to the site without a search engine, or following another link, and from such odd places too.

Is this just us, or has anyone else had strange reporting from Google today?

Yes I have the same problem. It ranges from no vistors at all on one of our busiest web sites to a 450% weekly traffic increase for another one (I wish!). Odd eh?
