An idea for someone to start

I think most modern phones are water resistant are they not?

Plus how many people stand outside in the rain and make a phone call. Surely most people will wait until they are somewhere more 'comfortable' to make a call :)

No they arent. It says in the book keep them away from water. I got some on my phone the other week. A bottle of water leaked onto the phone into my bag and it never dried out. Water gets into the battery and just generally into the whole phone!

I think there are some waterproof phones out there but they are very dear so there you go! Come up with a cheap waterproof phone and dont forget me when the millions come rolling in!

Amen to this, I decided to give my phone a wash in the bath (checking emails in the bath... now that's dedication ;-) ) and it's well and truly broken.

Fortunately I have a spare so I'm using that for now, but it was a good phone so I'm pretty annoyed (at myself!).

Dragons Den's back tonight so you never know...

As an alternative there are many cheap waterproof covers out there for about £5 which allow you to still make calls and receive texts etc. Might be a short term solution for when your mobiles in your bag, or if your WeAreRedBalloon sitting in the bath :)
