Oh, I see. Yes, you may be right that pod casts are the current thing.

But I would like to work in e-book form because I think I can communicate these specific ideas better that way.

I think my minimal understanding of how to use PPC advertising has been the main stumbling block which I am hoping to correct.

Or maybe people just aren’t interested in the topic you have written about.

You may want to communicate with the written word but if your target customer prefers audio/video you need to rethink your marketing strategy.

It's odd, but since I posted the original post, the numbers of clicks have increased so at least clicks are registering now, whereas before it was totally quiet.
Is it the case that a mere visibility online maybe takes a few weeks to pick up momentum?

You may be getting more clicks but are people downloading the book?

I experimented by increasing the Bid and started to get sales of very low volume.

Sales were very low because click through rate (CTR) from impression to click was too low.

However, clicks per sale rate is reasonable.

So then I researched methods for improving CTR and top of list was keywords, so following review and revision of keywords I have now more than doubled the CTR.

But CTR still needs to be 16 times greater again.

And even then the Cost per Click is way too high.
Achieving sufficient clicks at the right price seems insurmountable.
