I have been looking at one of those robot vacuum cleaner things.

I nearly ordered it a couple of days ago but thought I would hold on for the black friday thing to see if ti comes down. It has actually gone up by £40. I understand prices go up and down so I am not overly bothered, but it did catch me off guard. I was expecting it to be the same price or lower, not more.

You sometimes have to shop around on Amazon just like you have to on Google

You can follow a link to an Amazon page and find a product at one price, follow another link or search for a slightly different phrase and find it at a different price.

This is one of the reasons they try to make you use the same SKU's and MPN numbers so they can group them all together as a comparison tool

    Don't tit about mate.

Coming up to 2 years old, bit dusty but does the job.

Black Friday or no Black Friday, the hoovering needs to be done.

Don't go for the absolute cheap stuff - friends have been thru several cheap ones in the same time.

If You are Waiting For Black Friday Then I will Suggest You Dont Wait For IT Because all Retailer First Up The Price and Then Drop To iT actual prices And we THough That Price Got Decreased...

Except retailers who don't do that. Quite a lot of retailers don't put their price up then drop it.

Still pick up some bargains on Black Friday. There are some retailers who drop prices - and if you take part in Black Friday on amazon as a result of their invite you must reduce your price by quite a chunk.

No plans on buying a cheap one, thats why I was thinking I would wait for blackfriday to see if the decent ones get reduced... seems now.

As for the stairs question, my Mrs barely vacs as it is, at least with this, some of the house will get done :)

This product is sooo for me, I have the same view as your Mrs about about getting out the vacuum. Only thing is I was once bought one of those little automated dog toys for Xmas and followed the instruction, switched it on to 'find its way around' information said don't worry about the stairs because it has a sensor and knows if there is a drop in front of it.

Set it off, it wandered around for about 15 minutes, went out in the hallway and promptly threw itself down the stairs... dead dog!

Still if I keep little Vac on the ground floor what can go wrong :) Who knows, it might even entertain the cat.
