Alternative for SEMRush 'On Page SEO Checker'

HI we are on the Guru plan for SEM rush and loving the platform although one of the key benefits is the 'on page SEO tracker' the tool is great but unfortunately it seems to be useful for a few hours and then we run out of our monthly credits.

Are there any additional platforms that can buy to manage keyword lists, allign keywords to a page and to ensure these are mentioned on the assigned page?

I use my brain and my eyes. What I don’t do is focus on specific keywords as this can lead you in the wrong direction. Just create useful pages that answer search queries and it’s job done. But don’t forget interlinking, this has a far bigger impact than individual keywords.

But that’s my point. Don’t have a focus keyword, sprinkle keywords liberally throughout the site with lots of good internal linking. That’s how google likes things.

Screaming Frog is always a must-have but won't give you the strategy nuggets.

If you are working with a small site, try and build up your skills rather than tools, if it's too big to manage then I'd use a hybrid of Screaming Frog, Search Console, Visual and SEMRush.

Good choice with SEMRush by the way, probably the only SEO tool we use at the minute.

There's little point in completely focusing on kws, instead, topical relevance is the key. Except when it comes to Title tags & anchor texts for backlinking.

For a generic on-page checker, I have user surferseo in the past and the results weren't too shabby but again, I wouldn't rely on these too much. Instead, I'd rely on my common sense & tons of data.

Talking about the effectiveness of keywords, if I Google "Apple IT Support" then this site gets ranked fairly well - https://keiththomas.co.uk/ the web content has absolutely no flow and looks like a dump of keywords.... but looks like it is performing online fairly well
The site is 20 years old. Longevity counts for a lot.

Ahref’s site checker tool is one of many options available with cloud base crawler that scans your entire website. I have used free tools like “seositecheckup,” but they just crawl the homepage. With Ahref you can import a wide range of visual reports that can help you make good presentations for your clients.
