Affordable Bookkeeping Alternative?

Hi,

I have recently been approached by a potential client who was enquiring about alternatives to software such as Sage. He was enquiring from a Cost perspective.

I know there are a few excell template out there but was looking for advice on where to find a cost effective solution for customers who has a small turnover and not many transactions.

I would appreciate a few suggestions.

Is there any scope for your client to downgrade their sage package to a cheaper version.

Alternatives might include Kashflow!

Try to sell the benefits of not using excel!

If there's just a few transactions, all you need is a list. But I think you'll struggle to find a pro. who recommends a particular spreadsheet for bookkeeping (sorry if it sounds unhelpful!).

Its free, and is a really simple and easy to use package for recording payments and receipts. It does the job and very well!

I recommend it to a lot of my clients, and have a large number of them now using it.
