Hello All,

We have just launched an affililiate scheme for anyone with a blog or interest in the motor industry.

Apart from this being advertised on our own web site does anyone have any experience of launching affiliate schemes and the best way to promote them?

You could sign up as an advertiser with one of the many agencies (these include Affiliate Future, Affiliate Window and Commission Junction) but I think they all charge joining fees.

If cost is an issue, you could promote your affiliate scheme at a number of affiliate directories, such as http://www.webmasteropportunities.co.uk/ or http://www.affiliateprograms.com/mediakit/contact-us.php

1) your affiliate network works on revenue share bases with advertisers?

2) there are sign up fees for advertisers choosing revenue share model (like me)

Hello Archil - thanks for your time on this.

We have created links and buttons on our web site, users can register and then use the html code to add text links or buttons to their web site. They will earn £0.20p everytime a complete valuation is requested through our web site.

There are no sign up fees, this is simpley to drive traffic to our site as an alternative to the pay per click search engines

Sorry Archil, mis understanding, I am looking for publishers of blogs web sites etc sign up to our affiliate scheme. We don't any external advertising on our own site unfortunately.

webuyanycar are paying £60 cpa if that's what you are after. They are on affilinet

Some of the larger affiliate outfits, especially Comm Junction, accept only those merchants doing something like 5 or 6 figure sales per year. You need to research the top ones and see if you even meet their minimum requirements.
A better solution may be to search the 'net for the niche you're filling, and see what publishers are available -- then ask what their advertising rates are. Or you can try Buysellads.com to see an inventory of publishers selling ad space.

20p for somebody to get a valuation is not much at all You might need to increase it as sometimes you get more for Adsense clicks.

you should first test and confirm your conversion rate. then contact big affiliates in your market and ask them to promote your product. tipping point will come when you get good affiliates to promote
