Hi
I am having a dilema at the moment. I am drawing up an affiliate program but cannot work out what to offer. We don't have much of a margin to play with so I was thinking of either a one off payment after the customer referred has been with us 3 months (Thinking of £100) or a monthly income on basic package costs of customer referred to us (our package for start ups starts at £60).
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Its a mindfield!!!

Thanks in advance

I would look at a split revenue deal which will be attractive to solution providers. If a package costs £60 a month and they get £5 of that its far more attractive than a 90 day wait on the hope the client might stay

Its far more attractive to them but then you have to keep paying them again and again which is a lot of work if you get a lot of business through them, and you might end up having to employ someone simply to look after these payments all the time!

You must remember that this service is ideal for anyone starting an ecommerce business and should be sold by designers/developers as a bolt on, exactly the same way they try and sell you a worldpay account etc. For a developer , its an ideal extra income source which is gaurneteed as long as the client stays with the supplier.

I see no problem automating this task which could even make use of the Paypal mass payment function.
