Hi there,
Im planning on opening perfume shop. I was wondering if there is any free e commerce sites which integrates with ebay. For example: I can choose on my site to put thing on ebay. If not free a cheap option ? Im aware of OS Commerce and their addons.
Many Thanks

I actually run a e-commerce site that sells perfumes and aftershaves and I started off using Tiger Commerce. Whilst they are very cheap and very easy-to-use, you are very limited when it comes to design and inserting any HTML is just a no-go area. I tried inserting some HTML code and it stopped the shopping basket from working, so no orders.

I am now with bluepark and I must say that they are fantastic! You get a lot more freedom with what you want to do with your website and the customer service is second to none.

If you need any more advice on this subject, send me an email and I'd be happy to help.

John - little tip for you...

It looks like your primary keyword is "discounted designer perfumes" according to your title. I suggest putting that at the front of your title, and remove your site name (as its at the end anyway)

That will gain you a few extra places alone.

GoMage your such a shameless spammer

try to lay off the [ctrl]+[v] for a few posts

viperek seeks: " if there is any free e commerce sites which integrates with ebay. For example: I can choose on my site to put thing on ebay" the module I give here allows to do that.

spam is post of GoMage Feed sent to email which not requested the information or case where we are tallking about flowers or stars and I put my post about feed export.

I share information about module where it is requested or suatable and you are getting angry cause if viperek chooses GoMage Feed Pro module, you loose him as potential client.

I wish you good luck!

I'm certainly not angry, or worried..

it just seems like every post you make is a copy and paste of exactly that message pushing your feed extension

its not just here but on other Magento forums as well

forums are supposed to be places where we discuss, not just copy and paste in our marketing message at every opportunity

I post different modules fetures. They look like one and the same. I post only if I see one seeks something what module I promote can really help. Someone needs just export, other could seek another useful feature of the module that is why each time i put all the features.

ecommerce decisions - what you decide is dependent on how up to speed you are with ecommerce solutions.
Magento - without any prior knowledge - you are looking at very steep learning curve. OSCommerce - is somewhat old hat and not exactly Web2 AJAX (Im sure others will disagree)
There are lots and lots of other carts out there, all with plus and minus points.

PM me if you need assistance

With the free E-Commerce stuff you tend to get what you put in. From experience with OsCommerce you'll need to keep abreast of security issues yourself, and I imagine this is the case with most other freebies. It does have probably the largest support community though and it has a huge number of add ons but you will need to be fairly savvy to get your site the way you want it.

Other carts like Roman or Zen seem to do a bit more out of the box. I'd not seen Magento before and am going to look into it. I expect as there's big brassy expensive versions there will be some things that it won't do unless you pay it to.

Previously I used Volusion who provide a good cheap service if you don't have many stock lines.

I'd suggest just building a eBay business first then once you've built a success out of that work towards a website, as unless you have a few 1,000 pounds lieing around it can be hard to do both things at the same time...
Steps:
1) Build your eBay Business buy a few cheap products to start gaining feedback
2) Once you have 10 Feedback points, build a shop then list loads of your products, carry on buying cheap items to increase your feedback.
3) Once you have enough money hire a good freelancer to do the project for you, you can get a custom CMS built for you with eBay Intergration.

Thanx,
Charlie

if $170 is too expensive I'm not sure Magento is the right platform for you to be honest.

Maybe best sticking to osCommerce etc
I am sticking to my oscommerce site, it was the other people asking about Magento. A template at that cost is way to much oscommece template which are equally as good if not better are available for $70 at some template websites, so yes $170 is way to much
