Adobe Portfolio Website

Hi All,

I'm not very good with Websites, SEO etc. My site is a free site that I get with Adobe CC. Does anyone know how to optimise these sites? I don't seem to be able to put any analytics code in and I don't think it's optimised enough to get into even the top 50 of Google searches never mind the top 10.

Your job relies on people hiring you to do a professional job rather than them doing it themselves. They recognise that you have skills that don't.

Maybe you need to find a professional to build your site for you instead of doing it yourself.

The free Adobe websites are the pits. They are fine for a hobby site but useless for anything else.

Had a look at your site assuming it's the one containing your name and photography.co.uk.

Don't waste any time even thinking about SEO (not that you'll get anywhere with a CC site) with the site you have. It's not going to get you much work, particularly from anyone looking on a mobile device.

Have a chat with a professional or if money is tight, find a decent Wordpress or Joomla theme that is actually going to help make your work stand out in a very saturated market. Take advice though on a theme that will actually convert because there is a lot of dross out there that completely ignore the user experience over appearance.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask if you want any more help.
