Adding affiliate products

Hi guys,

I run a small ecommerce site selling a few clothing type products but I want to expand the range to include some affiliate products that link through (like Amazon etc)

I currently run prestashop 1.3 but cant find a way to do this ? anyone know if it can be done and if so how ?

How do you add products now - is it from a csv file or do you do it manually?

Hi Daz,

I can add the products manually or via csv but the default site environment doesnt allow you to host products that when selected take you to another site such as affiliate products etc (like amazon etc).
It works ok as dropshipping as the site allows for end to end purchasing within the site but this isnt what I want it to do as I already drop ship but want to add further product lines via affiliate suppliers.

That's a tough one.
Could you run a site in tandem - with the same template but in a separate directory?

Brook, Thanks but im not looking for someone to build me a site at this time - just some advice on my existing one.

The problem is getting your buy button to do 2 different things, which isn't standard for any e-commerce software ive ever used unfortunately but could be something you could pay to have done i imagine.

I dont want to complicate it that much - basically I want to display products (icons) of the affiliate products and if someone wants to purchase them then it forwards the customer to their payment process.
