Change the keywords, change the adverts, change the landing page or change all three.

One or more of the above needs fixing. You just need to discover which one. My guess is it’s the landing page.

Would help to see the website for starters, or at least know what your are selling, half the problem is some people have "a build it and they come" approach, and others have even worse "build and they will buy" mentality

If you have 50 lets say reasonable quality visitors, then whats your USP, why should they buy from you, why do you expect any of the 50 visitors to buy from you, start with this angle and it might help make better changes

You can change keywords, adverts all you like, the key is once they are there, why aren't they buying

It is very easy to get a lot of traffic via adwords to your website. What it is harder to do is to ensure that all that traffic are:

a). interested in what you are selling
b). are currently engaged in shopping

Have a look at the bounce rate associated with the clicks. Are people simply getting to your website and leaving straight away?

The most likely cause of this is your choices of keyword. Generally their is a temptation to start picking every keyword under the sun. And all these words are likely to be set up as broad match so you will have a very larger net that ends up capturing all sorts of rubbish.

Your Ads should be filtering some of this out, you should look at your ctr.

Adwords campaigns need proper optimisation otherwise you will be throwing a lot of money away.

Have you ever had any sales ? If you have never had a customer then perhaps there is something fundamentally wrong with your website, your product, or your price.

Obviously it's hard to make very specific conclusions without seeing the website. The first thing I would do is find a target customer then put the site in front of them and get feedback face to face.

There are loads of things need sorting on the site - but website reviews are only for full members.

What landing pages are you using? Are you targeting specific products or are you just sending them to the homepage?

If it's the latter then you are just wasting your money.

First would advise a redirect from domains www. and root if you are going to use 'shop.'

Secondly for the type of 'gift' products you have would recommend you sell on amazon / ebay, then view your shop as a 'slow burner', that's build over time. Gifts is obviously very competitive.

Thirdly would advise for that type of site you employ an experienced someone who knows how to attract and convert or you will bring the wrong traffic and cost yourself a fortune.

Looking at the Deshedding Pet Glove (randomly selected) you sell for £5.50, why would i buy it from you when i can buy it on ebay for £1.89? There isn't really any worthwhile description that sells the product. Welcome to the harsh world of selling on the internet, making money selling stuff lots of other sellers sell is really difficult, particularly if you have no customer base. Gone have the days of 15 years ago when you could sell anything just by sticking it on a website. Sorry but i would stop you adwords now, util you sort out your site.

As above, full reviews are only for full members, and it's worth becoming a member of this forum just for that alone as the cost is very reasonable.

One thing I will say is have you never heard the term "above the fold" in relation to websites?

    This is terrible:

Do you have any advice on how to get products at these cheap prices?

This is one of the fundamental skills you need to have as an online seller - it's very simple, the cheaper you can buy, the higher your profit margin and/or the more you'll sell.

Order millions of them and ask for a discount.

As others have said, I can get just about everything on your site cheaper elsewhere. On other selling channels (like eBay) I can see the sellers details, your site is anonymous - I have no idea who you are or where you are. Trust is a big part of online buying and you have none of the trust marks on your site.

Firstly, you must buy direct from the manufacturer and in sufficient qualities to get the low prices.

Secondly, you have to sell things people actually may just possibly want to buy. To be absolutely blunt, there is not one item on your website that I would not throw in the bin, if I found it during one of my 'clearing-up' purges.

Thirdly, start on eBay and/or Amazon with ONE good item. Just one. Something people actually want and really NEED!

Fourthly, when you get to the stage where you feel you can expand to two items, make them compliment one another. For example, a range of HDMI cables, followed by an HDMI audio adaptor.

Good luck, chin up and try again!

Would anyone recommend using MX Wholesale as my supplier...
The supplier isn’t the issue. It’s a poor website, overpriced products and too much competition.

Wow you could pay £10K a month on adwords, and I guarantee you won't make one sale, don't wish to pee on your fireworks, but way to many "build it and they will buy".

You need to seriously first consider what it is you are doing, nowadays it tends to be the experts in their fields who will be able to have the skills, money to invest, and ability to create an online business which will succeed.

It blows my mind, why people think ecommerce is so simple, theres no skill needed, just chuck some products on a self built website and i'm Richard Branson :D

I think you don't have to read between the lines to get the gist of feedback. Basically you're not experienced enough and you've made a mistake. Lick your wounds and move on. Take a stall at a market somewhere and try and clear your stock.

Come back to e-commerce with the lessons learned. Take some time to research your market, if you can work for an e-commerce business in the interim all the better. If you are going to build a stationary website (or sell on amazon/ebay) you should be selling unique or niche products. You will not be able to compete selling junk imports that bulk buyers bring in for half nothing and can be compared with the click of a mouse.

The feedback you've got perhaps feels personal and harsh but you can be sure it will save you money. I wish you good luck with your journey.
