2 Free Tools For Finding Broken Links

Hi all, here are a couple of (FREE) useful tools that I have found which will help you to locate broken links on your websites:

1. www [weblink] .2bone.com/links/linkchecker.shtml - great for quickly checking a single page.

2. http [weblink] ://validator.w3.org/checklink - a way to check your entire site - bear with it though as it can take a while!

another vote for xenu link sleuth from me. although there are some great page based plugins for firefox and chrome.

Screaming from is good, I also use that but love the simplicity of Xenu

I also use Xenu's Link to check the broken link so my vote also goes to Xenu's Link Sleuth.

This is my tool of choice too, and one which I have recommended to numerous web developers I know. Give this one a go

I find Google webmaster pretty good for showing up errors in this area.
