We run a small business and kept running into the same issue. Most CRM tools feel like they are built for larger teams with big budgets.
We tried a few and it quickly turned into:
- Features we didn’t really need
- Paywalls for basic stuff
- Spending more time updating the CRM than actually speaking to customers
So we ended up building something ourselves as a side project, mainly out of frustration.
It is very simple:
- Contacts
- Notes
- Basic pipeline
No accounts, no subscriptions, and nothing stored on external servers. Everything stays in your browser, which was important for us.
It has been working well for our day to day use, so we decided to make it available for free for other small or solo businesses who might be in the same position. We made it available at www dot simple-crm dot org
Just curious how others here are handling this. Are you sticking with a CRM or going back to spreadsheets?
