Hi I have started a competition page , raffling off tickets for cash prizes , cars, holidays etc. I am struggling to get a business bank account . My company does not apply under the gambling act as before you can buy a ticket you have to answer a question first . I do not need a gambling licence but just wondering what I should label the company as on my bank account application as banks don’t like the sound of competition company’s. Based in Northern Ireland

Be honest the the banks about what your company does. If they find out you've lied to them they'll soon close your account.
