    Only used WP so can't say one is better than another. What I like about WP though, as other have mentioned, is its user friendliness. On the dev side, I like it because there is a function for just about everything or a plugin.

    As far as I know, the problem with 301 redirects is that browsers cache them very well and, unless the user clear its cache completely, there is nothing you can do to revive a url that has been redirected, although, if you used cache control headers in the 301 url, you might be on the safe side.

    True, I wouldn't complain about a new TV model being outdated in 6 months, is just that, personally, I think Apple's marketing is very aggressive, I know that if I buy an iPhone I will soon be outdated ,and feel outdated because of Apple's approach to marketing, i.e. I won't be "cool" anymore.
