Ah ok, thanks for clearing that up. What's you opinion of AHREF's comapred to Majestic and Moz? It seems much more clear and easier to understand/use than the other two on first glance.
Has anyone tried Screaming Frog? There's a free version for download and the full version costs a one off £99. Reading around a lot of SEO's seem to recommend it. Might be cheaper for some people than a monthly subscription to Moz or Majestic.
If you want to know your rankings with the best accuracy possible, nothing is better then to do it manually (these ranking tools arent the best).
Gte google chrome, put it into incognito mode, do a search in google then CTRL+F (find your domain) in the rankings....count up until you find it.
I agree with Old Welsh Guy - every piece of content a business creates should be created with 'sales' running thorugh it of some sort.
Employees are great for insight on customer behaviour, industry info, what works what doesnt etc byt this data should be then passed to a 3rd party professional...
its tricky, but you have to weigh up the attachment you have with that domain and think to yourself, would you prefer the money? If you don't end up using the domain then you have just missed out on an easy £800
