Has anyone had experience with the above? We have a telephone system contract with them that has finished early due to our old co. ceasing trading, but we had to personally guarantee it in the first place - they are ignoring our correspondence and we don't know what to do.
Thanks for your advice Maxine.
We are not going to go into full detail, but yes, our old co. did have some serious problems that we are trying to work-through the best we can.
We are trying to get some useful practical advice from some of the good folk on here so that our new co. runs the best...

The amount outstanding with the company in question is only about £200, but the total debt is quite large; we had problems with vat, cashflow, paye and n.i.
The new co. is very similar to the old co, but it is run entirely differently as we have learnt a great deal from our experiences so far.
The letters they keep sending us appear to be standard "you owe us this much pay now or else" and they just keep ignoring any letters that we send them.
The biggest thing that we are concerned about is if they issue a ccj against the old co. if this might affect our personal credit rating.
Our old company has been issued with a letter for the above giving us until 14th May to pay-up.
Our old ltd. co. has ceased trading due to insolvency, has no assets and is in the process of being struck-off and dissolved; there are also no directors as they have terminated their appointment -...
We have a question about logbooks. We've got some logbooks for our cars which are still in our company name which is in the process of being struck-off and dissolved.
We want to get these logbooks changed into our new company name and we were wondering if there might be any implications later on...
Hi Rhodes, the part of the co. that we want to sell is completely different to the part that we want to retain and would be in no competition at all, its a totally different part of the business.
We have thought once the cash part of the co. is sold to close the old co. name and start afresh...
Does anyone know the best way to sell a company?
We are looking to sell a part of our company which although the biggest pain for us to run, is also worth the most money.
Our company is split into an account part and a cash part - we are looking to sell-on the cash part which would mean...
A bit more info guys, we now run another company which is virtually identical but obviously registered as a new company, the accountant says the following,
"Yours comments leave us and potentially yourself in a bit of a difficult decision.
If we accept the proposal and we do not object to the...
Our ex-accoutant is pushing for some money that we owe him; the old limited company that owes this money is down for winding-up by Companies House.
We now run another similar company which he has mentioned in his corospondence to us and has threatened us we small claims court and his solicitor...
Thanks for your comments so far guys - a little bit more info which might help clear things up a bit.
Carsie:- We realise that we shouldn't give any preferential treatment to any our of creditors over any of the others, we are just trying to be 'right' with him, but the position we are in maybe...
Posted this in the accounts section yesterday, but don't know if it should be in the legals or not?
