Car Logbook Advice

We have a question about logbooks. We've got some logbooks for our cars which are still in our company name which is in the process of being struck-off and dissolved.
We want to get these logbooks changed into our new company name and we were wondering if there might be any implications later on if the same director signs as the old and new keeper (same directors for both companies).
Any comments or ideas?

a logbook merely identifies the registered keeper, not the owner. Changing the registered keeper is fine, but the big question is if the previous company owns the cars, then they are the assett of the company and any transfer needs to be legal.
