Had it with BT - alternatives?

Thanks, I'll take a look. How do their costs stack up against BT's? This is not really about price, it's about service and support but naturally I'd be interested to know

    Selling on Amazon with fulfillment

The US has a complicated system of state tax. The amount of US tax you have to collect depends on where the item is shipped from. That wouldn't be so bad if Amazon put all your ASIN's in one warehouse, but they don't - you'll end up with some in Alabama, some in California etc. it is, as Pish...

Amazon catalogue doing my head in

Amazon will match your listing using the EAN, in fact it's the most important bit but it also checks for duplicate titles and as you say, MPN's. You really need to change the whole lot in order to relist an item from the ground up.

Had it with BT - alternatives?

I am at the end of my tether with BT and I want to switch to another business phone provider. All we need is a simple set-up with a couple of internet phones. Anyone got recommendations?

    What Would You Charge For..o

Thanks Alan, I think I will do the review thing but I'll wait until we've changed a few things we know are not right as there seems little point in asking for a review until we feel we've worked on it some more. My Rapid Eyewear website was professionally designed, whereas this one was done on...

    Taking card payments

Not sure why you would want to have two separate payment systems for BTC and BTB, as suggested by the poster above. I use Sagepay and it does the lot. When a customer calls, you simply log into your online Sagepay account and enter the transaction manually. Sagepay is set up as a payment system...

    German Accountant

I use Avalara, https://www.avalara.com For a monthly fee of £150 they file my German VAT returns and manage all correspondence and paperwork with the German tax department. Definitely worth the money, and it's one more thing I don't have to worry about each month. All you need to do is send...

    What Would You Charge For..o

Thanks again for your comments. We'll have to tweak the pricing as we go because it's not easy knowing what to charge. The main thing I want to do is offer value for money for the small 'man' - the eBay or Amazon seller who tries to take decent photos without the right equipment on their...

    What Would You Charge For..o

Many thanks for all your comments, and your encouragement. To answer some of your points: We do have a camera they can use, and I have a member of staff who will be made available at an additional cost of £100 for a half day and £200 for a day for helping them to set up and, if necessary, help...

    What Would You Charge For..o

Hi Chaps, I've decided to start offering our fully-fitted out ecommerce photo studio for hire. The idea is that customers can come in and take the own pics using all of the kit available, with their own memory cards (they can bring their own camera if it can sync with lights, otherwise we have...

    Multi-currency accounting

I sell on Amazon Germany, France Italy and Spain. The money we make is paid by Amazon into a World First euros account (based in Germany), and then I can withdraw it to our UK sterling account. At the moment, my bookkeeper is using Quickbooks in multi-currency mode and we batch-total the Amazon...

    Are eCommerce Sales Down?

I don't have parent and child listings, all mine are individual so I'm not really sure how that works - sorry. I'm glad you managed to sort our your listings.
