I have re read your post now, again - you are not entitled to any compensation, however you are entitled to be put back into the same position you were in before the accident. Speak to your insurance company about this and use your legal expenses cover to recover the actual costs.
Good points well made. You wouldn't complain if you just got a £1500 admin error upgrade. I would a) take their deal, or b) look elsewhere, c) negotiate an individual better pay deal and keep your trap closed to your colleagues!
Yeah, they don't have to give you any of those figures. Would it be polite to discuss roughly with a salesperson, yes. Pay them a bonus on their figures yes. Share them, noooooo not if they don't want to!
Handing in notice late:
Hands in twenty eight day notice on letter dated 1st of month. im finishing on 28th. Letter arrives on 2nd.
Technically last day should be 29th?
Basically trying to finish a day early on notice period I think.
That said this whole thread seems silly!
Depends on the following and more
Do you pay them through PAYE (yes = minimum wage problems??)
Do they fill in their own tax returns as self employed (yes = that's a whole HMRC problem if they only work for you)
Self employed is the only way to do this if you go with the don't sell don't eat...
They are! but they aren't exactly capped at £2k are they! And i'm not sure your solicitors bill is capped!
a £10k solicitors bill you don't have to pay because you are insured is always a handy thing to have if it's not too expensive...
I use eFax too, I like their service, it works well and is very cheap - however, not one person gets our fax number without me laughing at them and telling them it isn't the eighties any more.
Fax is just shoddy, most printers have an auto scannery function on now!
yeah - frankly I find them a load of rubbish. Have tried a number of times with no success, their product knowledge and sales skills basically mean they are trying to fish with a tin can in the sea.
Nope, it isn't a legal requirement like the health and safety. Choose a supplier carefully and compare costs as well as what service you receive. Advice at the right moment can be crucial. Many companies like mine at EL Direct offer insurance with their HR products to cover you in the event of...
Anyone moaning could always fly with someone better, chances are it will cost the same as a Ryanair with extras.
They don't hide it - cheap as if you toe the line.
Brilliantly put Nord. In a tiny business like that compassion can kill it and ruin it for all. It must be hell for the employee in this situation but it reads to me like you are trying to do your best in a horrible situation.
I do not envy you here. I hope it all sorts.
