Fiverr can be a good place to start. I've used it for a number of different services and if you look hard enough you can find some really great quality for the $5 the charge.
I highly recommend to stay away from Volusion. I had the worst experience with them. Set up was complicated, and the after service they provide is non existent. Any time I had an urgent problem, it took them days to reply to emails. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Woocommerce is the best option for you. I've used it for a while now. Easy to set up and customize. Don't know any better ones you could use. I would try it.
One problem that I found with my start up was the fact that a few of my employees decided to take my idea and start there own enterprise doing a similar thing but on a smaller scale. I wasn't impressed because they were my best employees and it made me miss deadlines and have to spend the time...
My experience at working at a start up company were great compaired to an established company. For example, from day 1 I was an important part of the team, whereas when i worked at an established company, I was just another "cog in the wheel" ( not sure if that is the right expression). But I...
For me, not a regular 9 to 5 suggests a job that you will want to stay in the office more. Most organisations promote jobs this way however so I would look into the job description and ask the interviewer why is this not the typical 9 to 5 job.
I would start with family and friends. You never know of the skills that some people you already know have, and how much they can contribute to your new start up. Also JandJC has some great suggestions, I my self have used crowdfunder and was impressed with the quality of partner I found.
For the start of the new financial year you should always carry the balance forward but start on a new spreadsheet. It is much easier to keep track of things this way. Think of it this way, you don't want to have 10 years of accounts all on one spread sheet. It would be hard to find specific...
LinkedIn can be a great source to market your business to other business. Also a well thought and created email outreach with a "call to action" can reward you with many benefits.
Tools that I use often are SEO for chrome and Mozbar extensions on Google chrome. I can quickly access PR and DA of websites just by the click of a button. And both are free.
Depending on your budget I would suggest a PPC (pay-per-click) campaign). This would help people searching for your keywords see your advertisements at the top and side of a Google search page.
I think the more social media websites that you use the better. For example as you said LinkedIn, you can communicate with suppliers and possible business customers through this source. Twitter and Facebook could be used to communicate with your customers, and Pinterest can be used to show the...
Just-eat already provide this service for free. However it would be good for your customers to offer this service for free. Essentially cutting out the middle man of just-eat. I myself would prefer dealing with the takeaway directly, although I do think just-eat is an awesome idea.
