Where to Look for investors/partners

Hi,
We have just launched a new startup business and are looking for potential investors/partners to help move the business forward.

Where is the best place to go to find good investors/partners?

I have only this week decided I want some help with my businesses. There are dozens of places to visit online but I just want, at this stage, to learn about the best places to visit to speak with good investors.

Hi there,

there are plenty of resources that can help you. An angel networking event might be of great help. But you really have to impress the potential investor. So have a good business plan ready, be creative, stand out! You might want to check the startups website where you'll find plenty of advice, or keep an eye on the angel networking events website The Funding Place. There's one this month!

Good luck!

I would start with family and friends. You never know of the skills that some people you already know have, and how much they can contribute to your new start up. Also JandJC has some great suggestions, I my self have used crowdfunder and was impressed with the quality of partner I found.
